I'd love to get the Cam Link 4K working with the true fullscreen functionality of VLC (which isn't quite possible in ScopeBox), so would be glad of any advice.PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, THIS GOVERNS THE USE OF INFORMATION WE OBTAIN. Because the playback is so much better in ScopeBox I am thinking that there's something else that is probably not working as intended and it's not just a caching issue, but I may be wrong. I have done some searching online which mostly suggests increasing the caching time in the input codec settings in VLC (I have tried increasing them all, but suspect it's just the Live Capture and possibly Network Capture settings that I should be increasing) - I have tried this - saving and restarting VLC but with no difference in playback. With ScopeBox I get a perfect signal coming in to the Mac as a source with 50 FPS, but when I try to use the Cam Link 4K as a Capture Device in VLC, the playback/stream stutters a lot and stops at times. I am using an Elgato Cam Link 4K with my 2012 iMac, in order to run a variety of HDMI sources into it.
